Proponents of studying abroad emphasize the networking opportunities and global understanding it provides. Many students from less developed nations choose to study in more affluent countries, where they are exposed to different cultures and lifestyles. They also have the chance to establish important connections that can benefit them in their future endeavors. These connections can be valuable when applying for jobs, starting businesses, or seeking guidance. Without these advantages, individuals may face more challenges in securing well-paying jobs.
However, the most reliable pathway to success lies in gaining experience in one's chosen profession, regardless of the location. Individuals who study and work in their home country face similar obstacles when applying for jobs. By staying in their country of origin, they have a deeper understanding of the local market and possess inherent advantages such as language proficiency, cultural familiarity, and support from family and community.
